Rob Spach

Rob Spach grew up in Brazil as the child of Presbyterian educational missionaries. He holds degrees from Davidson College (A.B.), the University of Virginia (M.A.), Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Columbia Theological Seminary (D.Min.). Prior to his ordination in the PCUSA, he taught English as a Second Language in Portugal and worked as a bookstore manager in Charlottesville, VA. He served as the Chaplain and Director of Religious & Spiritual Life at Davidson College from 1993 until his retirement in 2023. He enjoys reading, playing racquetball, and learning about socially responsible investing. He and his British wife Gail have two children and one grandchild.
