Plowshares Book Club
Our book club’s summer selection is “Theo of Golden"—a story about a mysterious stranger who arrives in the small Southern city of Golden, Georgia, and begins buying portraits from a local coffee shop and returning them to their subjects, asking only for their stories in return. The book explores themes of unconditional love, kindness, connection, and the impact of quiet generosity, as Theo's actions change the lives of the townspeople and reveal his own past.
