  • Grands Camp

    Is there anything better than making memories with the grandkids? Grands Camp is a three-morning event designed to bring grandparents and grandchildren together to share stories, creativity, and the love of God. Structured like an all-ages Vacation Bible School, each morning is filled with Bible stories, art projects, music, service activities, snacks, and plenty of space to play. Activities are thoughtfully designed to engage every learner, from Pre-K through 5th grade. The cost is $25 per family. We suggest no more than two children per adult, and "grandparent" is a broad and welcoming term here. Any loving adult bringing kids along is exactly who we had in mind! Children must be at least 3 years old to participate.

  • Vacation Bible School

    First Presbyterian Church 200 W Trade St, Charlotte, NC, United States

    Join us for a Great Big Adventure! From August 3–7, step into a world of wonder as our church is transformed into a lush, vibrant rainforest! Children will be immersed in the nature of God and the joy of faith through Bible stories, song, movement, and fellowship. Registration Details: Ages: 3 years old (as of Aug. 31, 2026 and fully potty trained) through rising 5th graders. Priority Registration: Opens February 15–22 for First Presbyterian Church families. Community Registration: Opens February 23 for the community at large (as space allows). Space is limited, so dive into the adventure today!

  • Kickoff Sunday

    Kickoff Sunday marks the start of a new program year, with Sunday School, Bible studies, and other programs resuming after the summer. Enjoy some breakfast, reconnect, find a Sunday School class, and discover what’s ahead this fall! 9:45 a.m. Welcome + breakfast, Fellowship Hall 10 a.m. Sunday School 11 a.m. Traditional Service 12:30–3:30 p.m. Youth Lake Party, off-site Sunday School Class Descriptions:  Passages, 9:45-10:45 a.m., S203 Pattie Cole Room — Open to adults of all ages and taught by a variety of teachers from week to week, the Passages class offers opportunities to engage with the Bible, theology, Christian ethics, contemporary issues, the arts, and a range of other topics through the lens of the gospel. Some topics we’ll explore this year include: Speaking the Truth in Love: How Should the Church Respond to Divided Times?, Siblings in the Faith: Amish and Mennonite Traditions, Jewish Festivals and the New Testament, and more!     Kick off a new program year with Presbyterian Women! Enjoy lunch, fellowship, introductions to new FPC staff, and a look at what’s ahead. Whether you’ve been involved with PW for years or have never participated before, if you’re a woman and a member of FPC, you're already a member of Presbyterian Women—and you’re invited! Lunch is free, but registration is required.

  • Cuba Mission Trip

    Cuba

    This trip is different from a typical mission trip. There's no construction project, no work site—the mission here is presence. We travel to Cuba to build and strengthen relationships with the seminary, its students, and Cuban churches. Registration is open now through November 1, 2026. The cost is $1700, which includes visa, insurance, lodging, transportation, and cultural experiences.
