Easter Offering
supporting Crisis Assistance Ministry
Job loss. A medical bill. A car repair. One unexpected crisis can push a family to the edge of losing their home. In the space between financial crisis and homelessness, there’s often no affordable housing safety net to catch them. Crisis Assistance Ministry stands in that gap.
This Easter, our special offering will support Crisis Assistance Ministry’s Eviction Prevention Program, helping keep Charlotte neighbors in their homes during times of financial crisis. By preventing eviction, we can reduce homelessness and provide stability for families when they need it most. Together, we have the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact in our community.
Children’s Ministry Needs Holy Week Volunteers!
First Church - Easter
April 5 (Easter) during the 11 a.m. service. Volunteer to be an assistant at First Church! You are not the lead teacher—you’re simply there to assist and help keep our children safe. As a First Church assistant, you’ll sit with the children during the Children’s Time in worship, walk with them to their classrooms, and support the lead teacher by helping with headcounts and maintaining a calm, welcoming environment. First Church takes place during the 11 a.m. worship service for children ages three through first grade. It’s a simplified, age-appropriate worship experience that helps children learn how to worship and grow in faith. Sign up
