Committed to the vow we made to your family to lead, guide and nurture the children baptized at First Presbyterian Church, we invite you to join us Wednesday, September 18th at 6:00pm in P-206 and/or by Zoom. This class will teach parents about what baptism means in our church, how to fulfill the baptismal vows at home, and to support you as parents in early childhood faith formation. This one-hour class, designed to equip families with knowledge and support that they need, is sure to be an hour well spent amongst families in similar stages of life. With the support of the community gathered, we look forward to learning together and having a lot of fun doing it! Parents are required to attend this class one time only. The class will be offered quarterly.
Our speaker for this Global Mission Sunday is Dr. Adrian Bird. There will also be a food drive for Communion Sunday.
Before the rush of the holidays, please join us for a time to pause and reflect at our PW Advent Service and Luncheon. Our guest preacher will be The Reverend Ellen Crawford True, Senior Pastor and Head of Staff at FPC Concord, where she has served since June of 2021. Ellen is originally from Nashville, TN. She graduated from Davidson College with a B.A., in English and received a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia.
