Originally, from St. Louis, Missouri, I grew up in an area replete with resources to explore cultural arts. My studies included art, interior design and dance, along with amateur radio (odd combination.) My dad and husband were both professional musicians, and instilled in me a great appreciation for music of all kinds. Unfortunately, their musical talents did not rub off on me (recalling my failed attempt as a child to accomplish the accordion)…not my choice, by the way! Outside of the arts, I love the mountains (especially Sun Valley and Jackson Hole), horseback riding, cooking and decorating. Sports…not so much.
I have been at First Presbyterian since 2011. Prior to moving to Charlotte, I lived in several locations in Florida, and spent 15 years as Executive Assistant to a condominium and resort developer in St. Pete. We moved here to be close to one of my three grown sons, and his family. I am now a new great-grandma to triplet girls!
