Christina is inspired by community development and enjoys promoting organizations that help build engaging and resilient communities. Since 2013, she has worked in the city and regional planning field, with her most recent experience focusing on community development, communications, and downtown event planning for a municipality in western North Carolina. She earned a dual Master of Public Administration and M.A. in Geography from Appalachian State University, a B.A. in History and Political Science from Salem College, and a professional development certificate in Digital Marketing and Public Relations from Western Carolina University. Christina enjoys photography, historic preservation, and her cats, Tommy and Daphne.
