Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.
Happy are those to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity,
and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
While I kept silence, my body wasted away

Many are the torments of the wicked,
but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the Lord.
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, O righteous,
and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

1. The Psalms of Thanksgiving follow a set structure described above. As you read, identify these parts in the daily psalm and write a summary of each part. Use the summary to pray and give thanks to
God when you are done.
2. God is the source of all that we have. Make a list of what you are grateful for and think of those things as you pray the daily psalm.
3. How can you express gratitude to those around you today? Try to use words or phrases from the psalm.
