Reflection on Today’s Devotional:
“It would be impossible for me to estimate the number of times, since March 2017, that I have written in my journal words from 2 Corinthians 12:10. “ For when I am weak, then I am strong”. When my husband of 43 1/2 years died very suddenly, I was plunged into a place of bewildered shock and weakness. Surrounded by loving family and friends, I desperately wanted to believe their repeated assurances of my strength. It was only when I crumbled in private to pray for that strength that I truly felt God’s protective hand covering me and giving me the strength that I so deeply doubted. I chose, each day, to trust God in the dark. Through the grace of Christ, I continue to feel His strength daily and in the strong name of Jesus, I give thanks. Amen.” – Debbie Sidbury (FPC Adult)
