DESCRIPTION:Join us after worship for food and fellowship at our Spring Luncheon! This intergenerational gathering is a chance to share a meal and connect with friends old and new. The church will provide fried chicken\, mac and cheese\, rolls\, and beverages. We invite each family to bring a potluck dish to share based on last name: A–I: Salad\, J–R: Dessert\, S–Z: Side dish (One dish per family\, please!). \nWhile lunch will be held in the Fellowship Hall\, the fun will continue outdoors at our All-Ages Playdate on the front lawn—complete with bounce houses\, lawn games\, and plenty of fun!

SUMMARY:Civil Rights Trip
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Civil Rights trip will travel to Montgomery\, Selma\, and Birmingham\, AL. Funding from the Catherine S. Grier Community Building Fund will sponsor 13 Westerly Hills Academy educators to attend. \nItinerary includes: Legacy Museum. Freedom Monument Sculpture Park\, Rose Parks Museum\, Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma\, and Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham.  See tentative itinerary here. \nThere are still spots available for First Presbyterian members. Single and double rooms are available\, and scholarships may be available. \nCOST: \n\n21-28 people total (including WHA teachers)  – $750 + $250 single supplement\nContact Garrell Keesler for access to a limited number of scholarships.

SUMMARY:Grands Camp
DESCRIPTION:Is there anything better than making memories with the grandkids? Grands Camp is a three-morning event designed to bring grandparents and grandchildren together to share stories\, creativity\, and the love of God. Structured like an all-ages Vacation Bible School\, each morning is filled with Bible stories\, art projects\, music\, service activities\, snacks\, and plenty of space to play. Activities are thoughtfully designed to engage every learner\, from Pre-K through 5th grade. \nThe cost is $25 per family. We suggest no more than two children per adult\, and “grandparent” is a broad and welcoming term here. Any loving adult bringing kids along is exactly who we had in mind! \nChildren must be at least 3 years old to participate.
